Where Love Resides

"Even if people don't know anything about the movie, the print has to stand on its own. I decided that the answer was to include images and symbols from the movie while making the colors beautiful to the eye. The house in the painting is the quilt that's in the film . . . with a couple of exceptions.

"There are really no surprises in the painting as far as symbolism goes. It's very direct and from my soul; what you see is what you get. This whole project was like a dream made real for me. I liked the source book very much and I think the screenplay was very well done. I was sent to Hollywood, given carte blanche, free run of the studio, even my own golf cart! I love it."
