"Although I paint many different kinds of animal, you can see I have a soft spot for Indian runner ducks and frogs. I also have an affection for the sport of golf. I onced lived across the street from a major course in California and would spend many an afternoon sitting on my porch, sipping a refreshing beverage and watching the progress of many a duffer.

"So one day I got to thinking: 'Where do all the mis-shot balls go . . . and what might be sitting on them once they are found?' Thankfully, my little friend here probably won't have long to wait before he's safe in the woods again."
