The Siberian tiger, largest of the world's great predators, is teetering on the brink of extinction in the wild; maybe between 100 and 150 of these magnificent cats are left. The last few struggles for survival against two main threats: an almost insatiable demand for their bones by the Chinese for traditional medicines and a rapid, brutal depletion of their habitat by international logging corporations.
