“I wanted to create a really strong composition but with a lot of contrast, elegance and soul - in the tradition of the great Maxfield Parrish. There's a contrast between this sweet little girl, who's small and soft and the window. There's also a contrast between light and dark and quite a contrast in colors. The result made me very happy.”
