Snowshoes

It has been a long trek and the mountain traveler, and his dog look forward to a moment of rest and warmth. The man unclasped his snowshoes and carefully kindled dry wood for a fire. All eyes are drawn to the warm, crackling flames.

But look again! There's more than one pair of "Snowshoes" in this painting. On the left, under some bushes, you'll spot two small visitors blending into the snowscape. Hares, man and dog are united in a scent of perfect and natural peace.
