Taking a Break

"'Taking a Break' is based on my personal observation while visiting Jim Dutcher as he filmed a special about wolves. These are two six-month-old wolf pups. We could get very close to the wolves but had to be careful. Everything would have to be secured because they would grab whatever was loose. They would nuzzle you but it was important to remember that they were still wild animals. A wolf is powerful and beautiful, but it is still a predator."
