As the mist rises from a shallow lake in the Beartooth Mountains, a herd of horses, stolen from the Crow, are being taken down to the water by Blackfoot marauders. Once in the water, the horses will leave no trail and the Crow warriors giving chase will have little use for their tracking skills.
