First it was a total gray void. Only a few feet around you was familiar, the grass and a rock, all the rest a pale, warm gray. Slowly a rock emerged from the mist, then a point of land appeared beyond the rock. It grew lighter and as in creation, new images appeared as the sun pulled the moisture up in wispy swirls. Then there was movement . . . a hunting party of Indians left the trees and moved into the water before them.
