A special light catches the "Ermine and Beads" and enhances the beauty of the pretty teenage Paiute girl wearing them.
"Shanna is one of five sisters who have been the subject of several of my paintings in the past. Once a year the family visits my home and poses for me in traditional dress. Much of the rest of the year is spent touring the country performing Native American dances."
