"Shannandoah" is the name of a 14-year-old Paiute Indian girl who visits Arizona once a year with her family. Her father deciphers petroglyphs (rock drawings) and as a result, writes and lectures. His schedule keeps them on the go. "Shannandoah" captures that universally appearing age of innocence.
