Arizona Mountain Man

This is a portrait of Mr. Ralph Baker, Sr., a Tucson teacher and founder of the Tucson Mountain Men, a group that is dedicated to keeping alive this period in Arizona history. Their costuming and gear are authentic to the smallest detail. Unfortunately, the unusual bobcat piece Mr. Baker is wearing in this painting was destroyed in a rainstorm.
