THE NERD DOGS

"This image was inspired by my brother-in-law's hunting dogs. They just couldn't learn to hunt and would much rather do anything but what they were bred for. They would sit around watching their owner read the paper or watch television. I thought it would be fun to parody that. Okay, I thought, what is the opposite of macho hunting dogs? "And so were born 'the nerd dogs...' - a Yellow Lab, a German shorthair and a mutt, all wondering where their pocket protectors were . . . and why, as canines, they needed them."
