Details
Come September, an ordinarily unexceptional slope begins to draw attention to itself with a hint of color, betraying all the deciduous growth of the hillside plant community. Soon the oaks have lost their foliage, leaving an intricate contribution of lichen-branched texture to the scene. In such a setting, one may chance to see a deer or two and after this initial discovery, upon closer observation, find yet more in the gathering, camouflaged by the autumn textures and colors. The closer you look, it seems, there is always more to be seen in such a rich landscape.
