"This image was inspired by a visit to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The area is well known for elk-watching in the winter, but I also love the fall florae, so I combined the best of both worlds. Not only do I enjoy creating print shapes that best communicate the look and feel of whatever I am painting, but I also like to fill the image with little extras that you can discover each time you look at the print. In this case, look for bald eagles nesting in Douglas fir trees and even a white-breasted nuthatch. Fine art can be just like nature: there's something new, interesting and exciting every time you look carefully."
