Details
The Tikal ruins are Mayan as are the carvings on the stela (stone tablet). But that's just the beginning of what is in "The Lost World." There are so many species of wildlife, birds and insects and such amazing combinations of wilderness and ruins that it's had to capture it all. The main subjects are keel-billed toucans, indigenous butterflies and teeming insect life.
