WINTER´S BRILLIANCE

The Cardinal's flamboyant red coat, distinctive black mask and spiky crest make him one of the most readily recognized birds. Originally found primarily in the south, they have extended their range northward to include most of the central and eastern states and parts of Canada. Unlike most songbirds who sing only in spring and summer, Cardinals continue to sing throughout the year. Their brilliant color and musical voice make them welcome visitors to backyard feeders all year long.
