Every home has . . . a warm, congenial spot that beckons as evening falls. John found this perfect interior setting in a restored 19th-century farmhouse nestled among the rolling hills of Ohio. The hat and jacket, he says, belong to Grady, his elderly neighbor featured in an informal series of portraits; two of which, "Old Friends" and "Forever Friends" are Sold Out at Publisher. “You’ll notice though,” John says, “that Grady’s cane isn’t there; perhaps he’s off preparing the evening meal for the two of them.”
