POLAR BEAR

Looking off into the vastness of its frozen environment, disturbed only by the birds calling back and forth, the polar bear is undisputed ruler of its domain. It is one of the most powerful of the bears, standing some ten feet tall and weighing up to half a ton. Much revered by the Eskimos as a shaman, the polar bear is considered to be in possession of preternatural wisdom in close communion with the unseen world.
