SECURITY BLANKET

Snow gives the sense of a security blanket. There's something so secure about deep, clean, untouched snow. In the spring and summer, there's a sense of release and freedom but in winter, you're covered and protected. This big cat has been chasing the rabbit for quite a while and although he ususally wins, it isn't the case here. The cat looks stumped and thinking, "Where did he go?" and the rabbit is thinking, "I can't believe I pulled one over on this guy!" This little guy is a Nuttrall, the western counterpart of the Eastern Cottontail.
