Details
In England, the hunt usually meets about eleven a.m. Huntsmen and followers assemble at an agreed meeting place. Often it is at a farm or estate where their owner has been bothered by foxes and has asked the hunt for assistance.
The hunt's earth stopper should have done his work overnight to assure that the foxes do not go to earth. The hunt may cover about thirty miles in the day, depending on the scent and findings.
