"In 1964, while on a combined business/vacation trip to Bath, Maine, we took a bus tour which included the harbor and docks. I took pictures of this small boat shop and wood pile. They were loading a newly constructed dory onto a wheeled carrier. It was a charming dell area with trees in bud, ready to blossom. It wasn't as glamorous as I've depicted here but being the supreme idealist, I cleaned it up and put the whole scene in the turn of the century."
