"I love handcrafted things, the old things and pieces made by loving, dedicated hands. People used to take pride in the things they made. There was a high standard for quality in those days. Now people accept poor craftsmanship, fake wood, plastic food and artificial flowers . . . and the one thing flowers are not is artificial. It's sad, really, to think that dedication to a certain quality of life is really disappearing from the face of our land."
