THE HIGHEST DUNE

The challenge of the unknown is one of the enchantments of childhood. The highest dune is there, to be conquered again and again and each time the climb is accomplished, new discoveries are made. The feet shovel out buried treasures - seashells, bones and sand-etched glass. The climb is hot and hard, but the breeze blows cooler up there and the perspective is unique. The blue of the ocean is more vivid and on the other side the sand has been blown into ephemeral patterns, always different.
