SEASON OF THE EAGLE BOX

Each Bev Doolittle Porcelain Keepsake box was sculpted by Bev herself. Boxes shaped to the image chosen, and then she began to apply the clay. The theme of each image was incorporated into the overall box design. As a final touch, a few words about the painting are inside each box: "Sound travels over the surface of this high alpine lake. With few trees to absorb the crisp sounds of horses’ hooves striking talus rock beneath the melting snow, it’s easy to hear the approach of this winter hunting party. Only through the lake’s reflection can we see what these Native Americans already know. Winter passage is only possible during the “Season of the Eagle”"
