Details

"Bob Edgar is the founder of Old Trail Town, an authentic restoration of an Old West town located near Cody, Wyoming. He and I had gone together to a deserted cow camp to gather some old wagon wheels for his collection. Along with the wheels, we also found an old one-room, sod-roofed schoolhouse. This sheep skull was resting on top and Bob insisted I take it as 'payment' for my help. It was in the fall and I knew the snow wouldn't be long in coming. So I left it outside. Snow has a wonderful way of transforming things - making them more dramatic than they ordinarily are. And that's exactly what happened with the sheep skull. It wasn't too long before Mother Nature had worked her 'magic' with the season's first snowfall."
